I’ve talked with a few empty-nesters this year who are thinking about down-sizing because they are starting to find their empty, 4-bedroom home a little too much to maintain.
Moving to a condo is a great option! Everything is taken care of when you go on vacation and the condo includes many amenties where you can entertain your guests.
And by guests, I really mean activities to keep your grandchildren busy!
There are some truly amazing condos, like #72 that listed at $1.6m and sold for more than +$100k over asking!
But many condos are still selling under list-price, which means we can use good, old-fashioned negotiation and not crazy blind-bidding.
Contrast that with Mississauga detached homes last week, where 70% of the houses sold for list price or more!
