If you bought a condo built between 1995 and 2007, there is a good possibility that there is Kitec plumbing in the building.
What is Kitec Plumbing and should you be concerned?
Kitec plumbing was used at the time because it was cheaper than copper. Unfortunately, it had a tendency to corrode and so there was a $125 million class-action lawsuit brought against the manufacturers.
